The original descriptions of Isaac’s Tea Trail walked the route in a clockwise direction starting from Allendale Town, then to Nenthead, Alston , Ninebanks and back to Allendale Town. This section of the website contains a description of the route in an anti-clockwise direction ie from Allendale Town to Ninebanks, then Alston, Nenthead and back to Allendale Town. The maps for both directions are the same, although there may be some minor changes to the start and end of each stage.
The guides for the anti-clockwise route are under development and will be added as they are complete for a stage.
